Shropshire, England Short Term Mission Trip Information
Program for Children of IWs at a International Worker Conference
Who?
We are praying for 10-12 people from NWAC (and possible area churches) who love Jesus, children, and want to grow in their awareness of global missions.
What?
This is a 9 day trip to provide a program for children of international workers at an IW training conference.
When?
April 5-14th, 2026
Where?
We are headed to a conference/retreat center in Shropshire, England. Link to the venue: https://pioneercentre.org.uk/
Why?
Our goal for this trip is to provide Christ-centered, biblical programming for children of International Workers ages 0-12 years old. This will consist of curriculum prep, crafts, games/activities, and corporate worship.
How Much $$$?
Estimated $2130 per person
Timeline of events:
Team formation
We would like to have a team formed by the middle of October 2025. This means that initial interest, application, AND trip deposit ($250) is required to be turned in by October 15, 2025.
Fundraising process
Each individual will be encouraged to raise their own support via support letters to those outside the congregation.
Depending on the group’s needs, 1-2 church fundraising events will be planned over the winter.
Total trip cost per person will be due by March 15th.
Team meetings
The team will have 5-6 total meetings to fellowship, bond, prepare, pray, and unify as a team before departure. The meetings will be monthly and set by the team according to what works best with people’s schedule.
